Your media stays on your device.
SmallWebLab Tools is designed so that media conversion happens in your browser rather than on a remote conversion server.
Last updated 6 August 2026Media files
Files selected for conversion are read and processed in browser memory on your device. SmallWebLab Tools does not upload, store or retain those files, and closing the tab clears the working session.
Accounts, analytics and advertising
SmallWebLab Tools currently has no user accounts, advertising, behavioural analytics or analytics cookies. If this changes, this policy and any required consent controls will be updated before the new collection begins.
Technical services
Your browser downloads the site, fonts and some conversion components from hosting and content-delivery providers. Those providers may receive ordinary network information such as an IP address, browser details and request time under their own policies. The media file itself is not sent as part of conversion.
Email support
If you contact support, the email address and information you provide are handled by the relevant email providers. Do not attach confidential media; a description of the format, browser and error is usually sufficient.
Changes and contact
This policy will be updated before SmallWebLab Tools introduces accounts, payments, server-side conversion or new measurement tools. Questions can be sent to the address shown on this page.
