Will the animation be preserved?+
Yes. SmallWebLab Tools converts the animated frames into a looping GIF.
Which browsers are supported?+
Animated WebP conversion currently requires a recent version of Chrome or Edge. The page will show a message instead of accepting a conversion when the required browser support is unavailable.
Why is the GIF larger than the WebP?+
GIF uses an older and less efficient compression method. Reducing width, frame rate or colour quality creates a smaller result.
